“Afternoon Effect” the first solo exhibition of “Autit Pohkham” or well known as “JAYOTO”, a street artist who has a unique character and a distinctive use of lively colors with particular and neat drawing lines. This time, he expresses a story in the Afternoon Effect land, where the sun never sets and the story occurs in a certain time of those JAYOTO characters that was created in an imaginary land.
A land that imaginary characters have shined and manifested oneself thoroughly in Afternoon Effect, a land of dazzling sunshine. A space where the sunlight refracts, affected on those characters and made them shine and colorful. The sunlight impressively enables everything to become flamboyant and lively. It makes the world more incredibly captivating. How fun and exciting the work will be, let’s find out in the imagination of JAYOTO.
JAYOTO graduated a bachelor’s degree from Silpakorn University, faculty of decorative arts, applied arts department and Thai arts program. After graduation he have created many artworks constantly as well as participated in group exhibitions like Color me bear in 2018 at Central world(2018), Outstanding Alumni award at Art and Designs center, faculty of decorative arts, Silpakorn University(2022), and the latest solo exhibition “Afternoon Effect” at Number1 Gallery(2023)
