“Chronoscapes”
🗓 June 5 – July 13, 2025
📍West Eden Gallery
The exhibition opening will take place on Thursday, June 5, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
A thought-provoking group exhibition featuring Aroonkamon Thongmorn, Kamthorn Paowattanasuk, and Pachara Piyasongsoot. Through their distinct visual languages, each artist explores the fluid nature of memory and perception, revealing how personal and collective experiences shape our understanding of reality.
Memory and perception are powerful forces that shape our understanding of the world. This exhibition explores how both personal and collective memories influence our sense of reality through surreal imagery artworks.
The artists featured in this exhibition question notions of truth and reflect on how political, social, and economic crises shape our perception. The artworks blur the boundaries between the real and the unreal, incorporating dreamlike elements, memory, and tangible objects to process historical events and personal experiences.
By challenging the idea of what is an absolute reality, the exhibition suggests that reality itself might be a subjective construction influenced by memory, emotion, cultural context, economic and political environment.
