"Colors of the Water Loy Krathong Festival"
Presenting the invaluable Loi Krathong tradition, "Thai Way," through illuminated activities in five unique areas along the Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem route (Hua Lamphong area), Bangkok, from November 24-28, 2023.
Discover Krathong landmarks inspired by significant traditions from five provinces across Thailand:
Yi Peng Tradition Landmark, Chiang Mai Province
Landmark of the Loi Krathong Sai tradition, featuring 1,000 lanterns, Tak Province
Landmark of the Loi Krathong tradition with candlelight and light displays, Sukhothai Province
Landmark of the Loy Krathong and Banana Peel tradition in Mae Klong, Samut Songkhram Province
Landmark of the Somma Nam tradition, Khuen Peng, Seng Prathip, Roi Et Province.
Additionally, experience Thai way of life demonstration activities, including Lanna lanterns, coconut shell Krathongs, palm leaf Krathongs, banana sheath Krathongs, rice ear Krathongs, and beautiful light decorations throughout the event area.
Event Schedule:
November 24-28, 2023: Light decorations will adorn the area along Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem (Hua Lamphong area).
November 25-27, 2023: Loi Krathong tradition activities will take place.
