Golden Teardrop

Arin Rungjang

Date:

9 November 2025 – 15 February 2026

The sweetness of Thong Yod (Golden Tear Drops) conceals within it the bitterness of disappointment, betrayal, and the uncertainty of life. Stories from the past intertwine with the present, unfolding gently through fragments of words that negotiate with the ambiguity of history.

MOCA BANGKOK proudly presents “Golden Teardrop”, a solo exhibition by Arin Rungjang,
an exploration of memory, migration, and cultural transformation. Inspired by the Thai dessert Thong Yod, the artist translates its form and origin into a poetic dialogue between sculpture and film—where golden brass teardrops hang like falling rain, and fragmented histories converge in shimmering reflection.

Step into a space where time and memory intertwine, and where the past finds new resonance in the present.
On view from 9 November 2025 – 15 February 2026
at G Floor, MOCA BANGKOK
