“In Stillness”

A group exhibition by Chavalit Auyjay, Kanokpon Somchua and Suthipa Kamyam that frames the study of nature as a practice of self-contemplation.

A subdued color palette and sensitive brushwork captures serpentine vines, wind-tossed trees, and dramatic landscapes charged with both their innate beauty and personal meaning, suggesting a boundary between self and world made seamless under the power of a heightened quality of attention. 

“In Stillness” presents the works of artists who are nature’s witnesses, and for whom self-contemplation is the source of creative expression. They hope their art invites us to connect with ourselves by taking a moment to observe and listen to our surroundings.
