‘Light whisper’ looks into time and presence, as the artist explored occurrences of everyday phenomenon.
With light and shadow shifted in interplay of roles and colors in play, Panisa Jermhansa crafted abstract connections between human and nature. Through the artist’s view, one places themselves in relation to space and time, establishing connections between themselves and surroundings, and finds their own presence through the process. The notion of time and place then becomes apparent. Observation then becomes realization --- of space, time, and the being of self, as well as the relation between self and environment.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Panisa Jermhansa works between the realm of art and design, exploring blurred boundaries and their multifaceted expressions. From her background in architecture, Panisa brings her understanding of human experience, spatial perception, intricate details, as well as her interests of human-nature relationship into exploration. Her works include architecture, interior design, and objects of art.
