LOOP OF LIFE is the first solo exhibition by Korn Kornmanus Ariyakaisri, also known as Korn Ariyak. The idea behind this show came from his realization that life rarely moves in a straight line. Instead, it has a way of circling back, stirring up the same old feelings, only wrapped in different stories and set at different points in time.
Joy often tags along with sorrow. Sadness shows up right beside celebration. Compliments and criticism walk through the door together. As long as we are alive, we’re caught in this swirl of emotions that never really lets go. And since we can’t just brush it all off, we might as well brace ourselves for every twist and turn that life throws our way. Each painting in this series is the same size, like snapshots from different chapters of the same book. They reflect moments we’ve all run into at one point or another. Through these works, the artist invites you to tap into those feelings we all carry deep down.

When you were little, the worst thing was scraping your knee.

In high school, it was a broken heart.

Back then, nothing beat getting a snack.

Later on, it was the joy of being truly seen and loved.

So now, the big question is: Which loop are you stuck in today?
