Inspired by his residency at MATDOT Art Center, ITOKiN's work and exhibition reflect his surprise at Bangkok's rapid development. Numerous buildings are rising, some still under construction yet open to the public, creating a sense of dynamic momentum. This bustling cityscape, with its ever-changing skyline resembling robots, together with ITOKiN's admiration for Tawatchai Somkong (MATDOT’s founder and president) and MATDOT Art Center as heroes of Thai artists, has served as his muse. ITOKiN's artistic journey for this exhibition began with sketches depicting these robotic elements alongside his experiences in the city. Reflecting further on his time at MATDOT, this exhibition prominently showcases ITOKiN's artistic identity through his use of primary colours – yellow, red, and blue – which he has named 'Hero Colours.' These colours draw inspiration from the cartoon heroes of his childhood.
