BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY presents Neighbor, the second exhibition in its ongoing two-artists exhibition series, bringing together the practices of Puangsoi Aksornsawang and Tae Parvit in a shared exploration of observation, memory and cinematic perception. The exhibition opens 23 May 2026.
Through distinct yet complementary approaches, both artists draw from everyday life, transforming ordinary moments into emotionally charged experiences suspended between reality and imagination. At the center of the exhibition is a dialogue between intimacy and distance: while Puangsoi works through language, memory, and diary fragments that extend her practice between fiction and autobiography, Parvit presents recent paintings that borrow his own language of drawing, constructing transient images shaped by chance, duration, and emotional encounters.
Together, the exhibition creates a space where images, texts, and memories behave like scenes recalled out of sequence, inviting viewers to move through layered atmospheres of familiarity, tension, and ambiguity. Rather than presenting fixed narratives, the works remain open-ended, allowing everyday life to be reconstructed into something poetic, cinematic, and deeply personal.
