This is a moving story of domestic love that traverses this world and the next.

"Our Season" centres around a mother and daughter who did not share a good relationship, thanks to a sheer lack of communication. The mother worked hard for her daughter to study overseas, but hardly spent time with her. The daughter felt the void so much that she left for the US without even saying goodbye to her mother.

Her mother passed away soon after, and that affected both of them. Her daughter returned from the US to her home-town, where she decided to work in a diner, and serve food made from her mother’s best recipes. (So, the film gives us a good view/taste of Korean food!)


The film, with excellent performances by two top actresses, moved audiences at festivals in US, Europe,Brazil, and was released in Singapore, Taiwan.

To quote the Korean Herald: “ Our Season is a relatable story for all mothers and daughters.”

The film screening is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand, who will host a Reception of snacks and drinks, after the screening. The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Mr. PARK Yongmin, will introduce the film.
