“Peace in Solitude” The tranquility that arises from within. This body of work is a continuation of my previous series, Journey to Tranquility, which explored a personal quest for inner peace through imagined natural landscapes—seas, mountains, skies, trees, and various ecosystems. These elements not only shaped my appreciation for the beauty of nature, but also offered a sanctuary during moments of suffering and introspection. In this new series, Peace in Solitude, I focus on the experience of arriving at a place of stillness—a state where the mind becomes quiet, calm, and receptive. The work reflects the ongoing process of nurturing this inner peace and cultivating mental clarity through solitude. Nature continues to be my most profound source of inspiration, guiding both subject matter and creative process. While I continue to use the wet-on-wet technique, I have shifted my approach by working directly with my hands rather than brushes. This tactile method allows water and pigment to flow more organically across the surface, encouraging spontaneity and emotional release. Water-based media has always drawn me for its fluidity and unpredictability, helping me relinquish control and enter a meditative state. Creating each piece is an act of mindfulness—an attempt to quiet the mind and embrace the present moment. Through this practice, I have found that when stillness is truly embraced, peace is no longer something to seek—it gently emerges from within.
