“Peek Hug Pool Villa Project” by Natnaran Bualoy, is conceived as an operational space of rest, grounded in the exchange of experiences and the sharing of time among artists and creative practitioners. It operates without judgement, selection, or the need for self-validation. Participants come together simply as companions who withdraw temporarily to rest, before returning to continue along their respective paths.
The project team facilitated a residential setting that enabled relaxation and the collective development of activities with artists and creative practitioners. This took place at a pool villa used as a temporary studio. Travel and the lived experience of spending time together functioned as the project’s artistic tools, fostering an atmosphere of openness, care, and mutual support. Within this environment, the natural expressions of each creative practitioner emerged organically, shaped through shared moments and encounters over a defined period of time.
These collective experiences were subsequently carried forward and transformed into new creative outcomes, brought together once again in celebration within the Main Exhibition Gallery on the 7th floor of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
