Nova Contemporary is proud to present A Primer for Forgetting, a duo exhibition of new drawings, paintings, and a sculpture by Latthapon Korkiatarkul and Nipan Oranniwesna. Drawing from Lewis Hyde’s book of the same title, the two explore the significance of oblivion, producing new intimacies, freedoms, and associations. Artists of two generations, they engage in opposing vectors, travelling from image to feeling, and from feeling to image. As if reversing visible spectrums in a dark room, they form a space of departure within and from their works, inviting us to invent, hold, and expunge.
