“Where does the soul finally come to rest?”
In the relentless friction of the contemporary city and the precariousness of our daily lives, we instinctively seek a ‘Safe Area’—a sanctuary where the mind can retreat and re-center. This exhibition redefines [Sanctuary] not as a mere physical enclosure, but as a psychological cartography constructed through the intricate layers of memory and sensation.
Three distinct artistic voices converge to map this space. For one, solace manifests as a fortress—a structured boundary built for inner defense. For another, it appears as a luminous embrace, where light dissolves the weight of existence. For the third, it is the vitality that eventually erupts from within that very protection, proving that a sanctuary is not a static shield but a fertile ground for growth.
As the meticulous architectural silhouettes on textured, raw paper meet the radiant masses of light seeping through the canvas, a quietude unfolds. Within this landscape, the frantic pace of the outside world fades, making room for an encounter with one’s deep, inner garden. This is not a journey of mere escape; it is a profound process of restoration and recovery.
