Every week, Pierre Brochant and his friends organize a dinner where everyone brings an idiot. The one who finds the most spectacular is declared the winner. This evening, Brochant is exultant, he has unearthed a rare gem, a world-class idiot, François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance with a passion for matchstick models. What Brochant doesn't know is that Pignon is a master in the art of triggering disasters.
Le Dîner de Cons was adapted for the cinema in 1998 and gathered more than 9 million admissions in France. It is performed for the first time by Le Théâtre des Invités.
