Kelsey Merreck Wagner

Date:

6 Apr - 25 May 2024

“Threads of Change,” is a solo exhibition by Kelsey Merreck Wagner a US-based eco-artist who addresses issues on plastic pollution, consumption, capitalism, and human impact on the environment.

Trained as a fiber artist, Wagner presents trash-weaving textiles made entirely from discarded materials such as plastic bags, old clothes, and scrap fabric that she collects from the community, these large-scale tapestries are a testament to Wagner's commitment to sustainability and environmental advocacy. The "Threads of Change" exhibition symbolizes the environmental crisis fueled by overconsumption and waste mismanagement that leads to environmental ruin at human hands.
