Diego Rodarte Planter (Mexico, 1984) focuses his visual practice on different technical supports, with a particular emphasis on exploring painting. A self-taught artist with 20 years of experience, he has exhibited in various cities in Mexico and abroad, in galleries, museums, and cultural centers.

He has had artistic residencies in Los Angeles (2018), Paris (2008), Oaxaca (2017), Torreón (2016), and Warsaw (2019). Winner of the First Club Art Show organized by the Reform Group in 2007, he has also served as a judging panel member at the XIV Plastic Arts Award “Edgardo Coghlan” in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, in 2012, and as a jury member for Plastic Arts Residencies in Colombia for the Laboratorio de Artes de La Curtiduría in Oaxaca in 2018. Additionally, he was selected for the XIX Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial, exhibited at the museum in Mexico City (2022).

He lives and works in Mexico City.
