Hunting & Dancing: 15 years
Nova Contemporary is pleased to present Hunting & Dancing: 15 years, Moe Satt’s first solo exhibition at the gallery. The exhibition celebrates 15 years of Satt’s artistic career, featuring a new two-channel video work and coinciding with the launch of his artist book, F’n’F (Face and Fingers).
Moe Satt (born 1983 in Yangon, Myanmar) lives and works in Amsterdam. He received his B.Sc. in Zoology from East of Yangon University in 2004. Solo exhibitions of his work have been held at the Delfina Foundation, London; KADIST, San Francisco; and Institut Français de Birmaine, Yangon. His work has been included in documenta 15, Kassel, and group exhibitions at Nova Contemporary, Bangkok; Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), Bangkok; Para/Site, Hong Kong; Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong; MAXXI Museum, Rome; and Rockbund Art Museum, Shanghai. Satt’s works belong to the collections of Tate Modern, London; TBA21, Madrid; KADIST, San Francisco; Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai; Singapore Art Museum, Singapore; and Ilham Gallery, Kuala Lumpur.
