About the Artist

(HUUYAOW)

As a child, I was captivated by the charm of SD (Super Deformed) characters—adorable, wide-eyed, and delightfully innocent. I often found myself sketching these characters in my textbooks, sometimes even submitting my homework adorned with these playful illustrations. 

I graduated from Rangsit University with a degree in Visual Communication Design. After leaving my regular job, I founded THE HIDDEN YARD CO., LTD, a company focused on brand creation and graphic design. Later, I had the opportunity to work as a home stylist, where I discovered another facet of beauty in art—that it should never be confined to just one medium. 

‘HUUYAOW’ is a childhood persona of mine, closely tied to a rabbit doll, like an imaginary friend who inspired curiosity and bold action. Created in 2009, HUUYAOW represents my stories and feelings amidst the adult world’s solitude and quiet. It has become a symbol of courage, youthful dreams, and self-discovery. 

After a hiatus from drawing, I resumed creating art in 2022 with NFT Art to refine my skills and improve my ability to capture people’s faces. I then transformed these characters into sculpture in 2023 and began experimenting with traditional painting on canvas in 2024. Exploring new techniques and color palettes has reinforced Huuyaow as a source of inspiration, encouraging me to embrace new challenges. This revival, thus, has expanded and enriched the world of HUUYAOW.
