The fifth solo exhibition by Chaiporn Panichrutiwong, Thailand’s first-ever recipient of the Designer of the Year 2023 award in the Digital Design category. Renowned in the world of computer digital animation and NFTs, Chaiporn presents a new series of artworks on canvas transforming his own purely digital NFT creations, which cannot be physically touched in their original form, into tangible paintings. Through his masterful and distinctive brushwork, these once-intangible digital visions are brought into the physical world. Some pieces in this series also continue to feature the artist’s beloved and charming girl character, “Nong Kanom,” as in his previous works.

Chaiporn Panichrutiwong currently serves as a full-time lecturer and Director of the Master’s Program in Digital Art at Rangsit University, where he also holds the position of Associate Professor in this field. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, and a Master’s degree in Digital Art from the University of Oregon, USA. His acclaimed works include serving as co-director of Yak: The Giant King and director of Krut: The Himmaphan Warriors, for which he also designed the characters. Yak: The Giant King won the Thai National Film Association Award (Tukata Thong) for Best Special Effects and received multiple international animation awards in the United States.
