“FutureHype: The Wave of Tomorrow” Maison JE's First-Ever Group Exhibition Presents Works by 12 Thai Artists with Zen Sanehngamjaroen as Curator
Highly accomplished curator Zen Sanehngamjaroen invites you to reflect a world in flux – one shaped by fast-changing social, cultural and technology trends – because interpretations of diverse messages and impacts from the past and the present are leaping towards a future at an accelerated speed. This invitation will bring you to “FutureHype”, where well-curated selections of works by 12 Thai artists are on show, at Maison JE.
Today, evolving technology has affected lives in many aspects with people endlessly adapting to changing environment, adjusting their thinking approach, and changing their lifestyles. All these changes have made impacts on society, culture and relationships, allowing technology to influence even human souls and beliefs. Driven by the changing social structure, humanity, human relations, and their connection with nature are now fading.
“FutureHype” is designed as a space for us to explore the relationships between the past, the present, and the future through the perspectives of 12 Thai artists namely Bannana Manz, Jang Onanong, Jayoto, Jecks Bkk, Leklek, Malee Naree, Mariko Toey, Muangthong Imthong, Noinah, Peerapol Intoom, Thanapat Chaipanna, and Turn Kanama. This thought-provoking art exhibition addresses the impacts from the changing social, cultural and technological landscapes to encourage conversation on the world’s future.
