“What is the first thing that comes up when you reminisce about your childhood?”. All the laughs in the playground and sand, or maybe, it’s drawing your own favorite original character? Those experiences and memories from our childhood days would seem trivial and far away, but they were also the most precious things that nourish our mind, and refill our feeling of happiness. As we continue to leap through our phases in life, our responsibility grows and reflects what society expects from us. It makes us forget those happy little laughs and memories, strips us of silly yet limitless dreams we used to believe in, and eventually darkens the bright mind that used to be the light in our hearts.

In this ever-changing society, we strive to find what would mend our ailing soul. To stride on the path, we need to acquire the goals that have never been found, and the inspirations that have been lost, by befriending the person we have long forgotten, “our youthful self” who was brimming with hope and happiness. “Happiness is Youthful” is inspired from the mind of 13 artists who have revisited their childish memories, feelings and dreams. Portrayed as unique interpretations of their youthful selves, their works are going to reveal to you the blissful periods of their lives, whether they are neat and simple, or bathed in vivid imagination, it’s for you to decide.
