“In Between” — A Duo Exhibition by Mr. Halfman and Hqohou

“In Between” considers space not as emptiness, but as a condition that exists between certainty and uncertainty, between the familiar and the unfamiliar, where meaning emerges from what is in transition.

The exhibition explores spaces that exist in relation: day and night, light and shadow, reflections and reality. Through landscape and parallel-universe, these works reveal what we sometimes see and sometimes overlook, perceived only through our lived experiences.

Rather than presenting space as a container for objects, “In Between” proposes space as an active presence that shapes perception, emotion, and attention. The exhibition invites viewers to encounter spaces that cannot be fully entered, but only sensed, questioned, and imagined.
