Get ready for “Italthai Portrait Prize 2025”—Thailand’s premier national portrait exhibition.

Presented by Italthai Group, in collaboration with River City Bangkok, this prestigious annual event continues its mission to champion and elevate the Thai art scene, marking an important milestone as it celebrates its 5th anniversary this year. In this special edition, the Italthai Portrait Prize invites artists from across the nation to express the beauty and complexity of human experience through the theme “LIFE: Growth, Dream, and Failure.”

From hundreds of submissions, the judging panel spent over eight weeks carefully reviewing and selecting 65 finalists whose works are now on view in this exhibition. Among them, the winners of the Portrait Prize (THB 500,000), and the Youth Prize (for artists under 16, THB 100,000) were chosen by the jury, while the Packing Room Prize (THB 200,000) was selected by the River City Bangkok curatorial team.

Visitors are also encouraged to read the stories behind each portrait and cast their vote for their favorite artwork to determine the winner of the People’s Choice Prize (THB 100,000), which will be announced after the exhibition concludes on 17 December 2025.
