βπ΄πππ π·πππππππππβ, the solo exhibition of βπΆβππππππππ π·πππππππβππβ, presenting an exploration and analysis including connection of the relationship between Maya Philosophy and the reality that occurs in society through the contemporary paintings, which artistically interpret symbols and objects that hidden in culture under an illusive frame and the truth; through anthropological perspective, differences and beliefs that causing diversity in each culture, influentially created from negotiation between traditional beliefs and the changes in contemporary society. It may be said that mythology was worked by dominating the definition of things and redefining them as in the level of values and ideals. Beliefs that were suppressed to become things that seemed to look natural, may reveal the structure of hidden power behind.
βMaya Philosophyβ, is not only reflected a specific type of culture and complexity of belief system in society, but it is an open space to discuss and question about things that we may not be aware in our daily lives, with using the painting works to have the space to communicate in different dimensions. Moreover it is to invite people to review and be aware of influences of mythology that have an impact on our perceptions as well as to appreciate the values in the current society.
