Poetry of the season

Mariem.b, Jarasporn Chumsri, Chayanin Kwangkaew

Date:

7 March - 25 April 2026

The weather has a great effect on how people feel. The mind is like the body, when the weather changes in each season, it can affect human emotions, for example, when the weather is hot, it is easy to feel irritated. Gray skies will make you feel lonely or annoyed. Winter has a lot of fog in the morning, and the night is longer than the day, resulting in feeling lazy or depressed for no reason. Everyone has a different way of coping. In particular, artists convey it into their own specific forms of art, including abstract, semi-abstract, and truthful.

Mariam Artists who we will be familiar with embroidery of yarn on black fabrics. This time, Mariam experimented with a variety of materials, using weather as a variable to make them, such as tie-dye fabrics and using nets to reinforce them to create a blurry dimension. The artist has experienced a big change in his life. All of these have a wide range of emotions, which are triggered by different weather conditions.

Charasporn, the creator of low relief art, is an introvert. Walking and the grounding process are used as a way to reconnect the body with nature. Gradually, it enters a state of relaxation on both the physical and mental levels, to awareness as a small part of the vast natural system. During walks, the sky is no longer perceived as just a backdrop. Instead, it became a space where new stories could be told was formed under the influence of neurological interests.

Chayanin, who is passionate about painting portraits in the form of still lifes. The weather did not make him a moody person, but he always chose to take the time to be aware of things in order to deal with them consciously, because "all things are not permanent, and yet all elemental matters are not permanent." What happens on the planet we have no control over. But we can control our reaction to those events. Thoughts and minds are things that are constantly changing. Maintaining "mindfulness" is the determinant of awareness. The use of the mind to touch the object considers impermanence like a trick, which makes the "cause" known, because "the thing exists, so this exists." Through an orderly writing process with meticulous scrutiny. The calm atmosphere is like a timeless state, metaphors, indifference, unhappiness, and mourning for emotional states. "To know the truth is to see the truth, to see the truth is to see the untruth."
