"Reminiscence: 5 years of Warin Lab"
The archive exhibition reflects on their nearly five-year journey at the current location, as they are in gear to move forward into a new chapter
Housed within the century-old former residence of Dr. Boonsong Lekagul (1907-1992), a pioneering Thai wildlife conservationist, the gallery has been shaped by an ongoing exploration of environmental themes through a wide range of artistic perspectives and practices.
Reminiscence: 5 Years of Warin Lab brings together a curated selection of works from 28 exhibitions previously held in and around this unique space. Each work captures an evolving dialogue between artists and audiences. Spanning reflections on history, environmental engagement, material experimentation, and speculative imagination, the exhibition highlights contributions from both established and emerging artists.
Rather than a traditional retrospective, this exhibition operates as an open archive, inviting viewers to consider how the works coexist, overlap, and resonate beyond their original contexts. It reveals a living ecology that continues to evolve, guided by the ongoing theme of ‘Environment and Ecology.
