Exhibition: Soft Embrace

ARCH GALLERY (Bangkok) is thrilled to announce the opening of Erlili’s first major solo exhibition in Bangkok — Soft Embrace— launching at our Bangkok space on September 17, 2025.

The show will feature 21 easel paintings, 1 sculptural work, and 16 art derivatives, all weaving Erlili’s unique perspective on “softness” into tangible art.

Through dreamlike hues of yellow, blue, and green, Soft Embrace builds a metaphysical spiritual sanctuary, echoing humanity’s primal longing for refuge. For Erlili, “softness” is far from fragility: it’s the practice of facing the world with calm resolve, a quiet strength that guards one’s inner core amid chaos. Like water, it flows around rigid edges to shape mountains and rivers; like wind, it’s invisible yet powerful enough to break deeply rooted shackles. Instead of opposing the world’s harshness and noise, softness dissolves oppression and alienation with tolerance and fluidity.
