Shrink the world of Thai culture into miniature wonder at the new “SOOK SMALL WORLD” @ SOOKSIAM, ICONSIAM
A new miniature landmark has arrived on the Thonburi side of Bangkok at the Central Region Zone on the UG Floor of SOOKSIAM, ICONSIAM. This newly transformed creative community invites visitors into a handcrafted world inspired by the concept “The Charm of Thai Miniatures” — reimagining traditional Thai ways of life and cultural heritage through highly detailed and realistic miniature art.
Stroll through four beautifully crafted traditional Thai houses, each presenting its own unique story:
White Manee House (Thai Miniature Museum)
The highlight of the exhibition, showcasing rare collectible works by six renowned master artisans and craftsmen. Discover classic noodle carts and floating market miniatures, Bang Sadet royal court dolls, mechanical wooden grocery stores, miniature Benjarong ceramics decorated with real gold, and nine miniature Khon master masks created using authentic traditional techniques.
Konja House (Thai Artisan Gallery House)
A gallery and shop dedicated to miniature works inspired by traditional Thai village life. Visitors can also join hands-on DIY activities and create their own Mini Thai-style crafts.
Sisawat House (DIY & Miniature Market)
A contemporary miniature market filled with inspiration and creative ideas. Browse charming handcrafted items including terrarium gardens, Thai clay miniatures, naturally dyed crochet works, and adorable miniature Thai food keychains and magnets.
Wichienmaat House (Thai Art Workshop)
Perfect for creative minds looking to explore Thai craftsmanship through workshops such as sculpting traditional Thai desserts in miniature clay or painting miniature jars and Khon masks. Workshops are held every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The space also features local products from all four regions of Thailand through the Culture Connex platform.
Beyond the miniature world, visitors can also enjoy immersive digital experiences, including dressing in traditional Thai costumes for interactive LED photo displays and joining the fun “Find SOOK” activity featuring the adorable digital Wichienmaat cat mascot. Cultural performances such as miniature Khon and traditional puppet theatre are also presented on a rotating basis throughout the program.
Now open at the Central Region Zone, UG Floor, SOOKSIAM at ICONSIAM.
