The 31st National Book Expo runs under the theme “Unread Messages”. In an age of endless notifications, every book is a message waiting to be opened. Each one may lead to a valuable story, a new idea, a fresh point of view, or the spark to learn something new.
More than 300 publishers fill the fair across six zones:
General books
Fiction and literature
Children’s and educational books
Comics and young adult
Second-hand books
Non-book items and board games
There are 18 exhibitions and activities. Highlights include:
100 Annual Book and Cover Design 2026, showcasing 100 outstanding book covers.
Unread Key Visuals, showing selected entries from the fair’s key visual competition.
Island Awaits: The Debut Showcase, featuring debut works by Thai authors and translators.
From Unread to Unlocked, a Braille and accessibility space for visually impaired readers.
