The Marbling Art: A Journey of Colors and Watercourse

Metasit Bunaikbuth

Date:

6,13 and 20 September

The Marbling Art: A Journey of Colors and Watercourse An Art Workshop for Creativity and Healing through the Movement of Colors and Water by Contemporary Printmaking Artist Metasit Bunaikbuth Marbling Art, or “Water Pattern Art,” is an ancient artistic technique that has been passed down through diverse cultures such as Turkey, Japan, and Europe. The process involves dropping pigments onto the surface of water, shaping the colors with special tools to form intricate patterns, and then transferring them onto paper or fabric. Each creation is one-of-a-kind, impossible to replicate.

TCDC invites all art enthusiasts to join the Marbling Art Workshop led by Metasit Bunaikbuth, a contemporary printmaking artist renowned for his expertise in Marbling Art. He employs this technique as a medium to express the “movements of the mind” through flowing water-like patterns, encouraging mindfulness, inner peace, and emotional healing by engaging participants in this gentle and nature-inspired art practice.
