The Japan Foundation, Bangkok in collaboration with the Creative Economy Agency (CEA) and Light Bulb Art and Creative Hub are very pleased to co-organize the cutting-edge traveling exhibition “Time Travel in Ginza Street in Meiji Era – Hyper Edohaku” through Extended Reality (XR), created and produced by the Tokyo Metropolitan Edo-Tokyo Museum. This exhibition encourages visitors to learn about the living history and culture of Japan during the Meiji period. The entry is free of charge.
Let's travel back in time together to Ginza Street in Meiji Era through the cutting-edge digital technology which makes you feel as though you actually time travelled to experience one of the major periods of transformation in Japan in the past.
Visitors will enjoy the astounding views including cultural artifacts such as rickshaws and steam locomotives around Ginza Street and its vicinity through a headset using Virtual Reality (VR). Especially in Bangkok, audiences will be astonished with interactive experience in which the characters move in sync with us through Real-time projection of XR imaginary together with visitors footage. Moreover, you can take photos using Augmented Reality (AR) that brings together virtuality and reality harmoniously.
