The exhibition considers how economic crisis, migration, ecological transformation, and shifting systems of labor continue to shape everyday life in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Rather than treating globalization as a completed historical moment, the exhibition examines its ongoing effects through artistic practices attentive to memory, material conditions, informal economies, cultural institutions, and the landscapes people inhabit.
Moving across spaces of circulation and encounter, the exhibition also responds to the historical and social context surrounding the Jim Thompson Art Center from Siam and Kasemsan to the Baan Krua area. Through this expanded spatial approach, 'And Still, Another After' invites audiences to consider how inherited systems are sustained, repaired, negotiated, and reimagined by a group of emerging Thai artists.
Featuring Artists: Bhumikorn Kongtaveelert collaboration with Anna Golubkova, Pitchada Poolsawad, Piyatida Piyamassakul, Pakapat Limlertphonboon, Sareena Sattapon, Nat Setthana, Marisa Srijunpleang and PLERN VERN.
