"Blue: In the Space Between Memory, Perception and the Dark Indigo of the Senses", an exhibition by Auttapol Kabbuakhai (Khao X), is a blue space where states of reality and unreality overlap, presented through the body in relation to empty space.
Here, blue is not merely a colour but the form of the condition that arises within that overlap. The overlapping becomes an ambiguity that opens a gap in perception, passing through the gaze that looks and is looked at, on to the physical senses, before settling into memories that linger and blur.
The exhibition opens a space for visitors to explore this blue, an in-between space of overlapping layers that, though calm, is never fixed, and so ambiguous that it remains unclear, leaving room for us to explore what unfolds in that very moment.
