Art in Motion: Synchronicity × Resonate
A Photographic Media Exhibition and Film Screening Collaboration between FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and Chulalongkorn University
Synchronicity, as explored by our colleagues in Bangkok, reflects the idea of harmony
emerging from differences. Each work grows from distinct experiences, interests,
perspectives, and creative approaches. When brought together, these differences coexist, connect, and respond to one another, forming new relationships within a shared space. Resonate, as offered by our colleagues in Yogyakarta, speaks of the way a single image, a single frame, a single gesture can continue to vibrate long after the moment has passed—echoing across distance, time, and difference. Through this idea, their works explore the relationship between art and humanity, and the ways images and moving images can connect individual experiences, emotions, and ways of seeing. Together, Synchronicity and Resonate meet through Art in Motion. Here, photography and film become more than documentation. They become acts of connection, bringing different experiences and perspectives into dialogue across cultures and creative practices.
