Discover and appreciate the beauty of Thailand’s royal barge procession, one of the country’s most significant ancient royal traditions. The exhibition reflects Thailand’s history, arts, culture, and inherited wisdom, while preparing visitors for the Royal Kathin ceremony and the royal barge procession scheduled for 6 November 2026.
The exhibition features all 52 royal barge replicas arranged in the formation of the actual procession, each meticulously designed and accompanied by stories about its type, role, and significance. A key highlight is the presentation of four important royal barges from the 2026 ceremony: Suphannahong, Anantanakkharat, Anekkachatphuchong, and Narai Song Suban, Rama IX. Visitors can also see a large 15-metre replica of Suphannahong, alongside multimedia presentations, videos, and educational content that explain the history and significance of Thailand’s royal barge procession.
