As the world around us accelerates, cities, technology, travel, and the vast flow of information become increasingly woven into our daily lives, gradually reshaping the way we perceive, remember, make decisions, and adapt. At the same time, the world we inhabit is also changing as a result of human activity in the Anthropocene. The external world and our inner world are therefore not separate from one another. Everything that happens around us enters our perception, is processed and remembered, and ultimately becomes part of the way we see the world and understand ourselves.
Munins explores these ideas through three key processes: Emotion Encoding, the way emotional experiences are perceived and recorded; Signal Selection, the process of determining what is worth remembering; and Neural Pathway, the way we see and make sense of what lies before us. Together, they take viewers on a journey from perceiving and recording emotional experiences, to selecting what to retain, and ultimately to seeing and understanding what is in front of us, in search of a path that feels right for each of us.
In addition, Munins will personally guide visitors through “STILL : ON” during an Artist Tour on 11 October 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. The tour offers an opportunity to hear directly from the artist about the stories, ideas, and details behind the works, while discovering the exhibition through a perspective that may offer a deeper understanding of both the artworks and Munins’ creative process.
